Camila Mendoza Olmos, 19, was last seen at approximately 7:00 a.m. on December 24, 2025, at her home in the 11,000 block of Caspian Spring in northwest Bexar County. Home surveillance and neighbor dashcam footage captured her leaving her residence. She reportedly left her phone, wallet, and car behind, taking only her car keys and possibly her driver’s license.
Prior to the discovery of the remains, Texas law enforcement agencies released dashcam footage to assist in locating the teenager.
On December 30, 2025, human remains were discovered at approximately 4:45 p.m. in a field at the Burning Bush landscaping company, located between 100 and 300 yards from Olmos’ home. The body was found wearing clothing that matched Olmos’ description.

Investigation Details
Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar released a statement noting that investigators do not suspect foul play in connection with the discovery at this time. As of December 31, 2025, the medical examiner’s office has not officially confirmed the identity of the remains.
Investigators recovered a firearm near the body, which was reported missing by a family member. Law enforcement also noted that Olmos had been experiencing personal stress and mental health challenges prior to her disappearance.
